(and how it may not be too late to get him back).” What makes Lesley D. Nurse’s relationship advice unique? Lesley has created a melodramatic relationship book that’s loosely based on her own life. Honey is the main character in this easy and addictive read. Each chapter consists of a short story, with one issue being discussed and then advice is given at the end. Some of the issues at hand are making- excuses, arguing, egotism, defensiveness, and poor communication… just to mention a few.

Who is Honey? She is someone that you know. It’s easy to love her for her kind ways but then it’s hard to take her at other times with her selfish, “all about me” behavior. Author Lesley D. Nurse takes her to the extreme in the brief and colorful 19 short stories. “I have read other relationship books and felt disconnected from the writer. That’s why it was very important that I kept things relatable, uplifting and entertaining,” states Lesley D. Nurse. Honey is who other women envy and scratch their heads at because of her fortune- whether it’s looks, money, a great guy, talent or all. Lesley continues, “I am not ashamed to say that I am imperfect but now much wiser. So I decided to take what was once seen as a weakness and now use it for empowering all ‘Honey’s’ of the world!”

 

“I had no idea how strongly my issues were affecting me from progressing in all areas of my life. Then I realized how many other women were also suffering in silence. It made me rethink my life, goals and attitude. That’s when I decided to do a life makeover and write about it,” says Lesley D. Nurse.
