Ultraseal International is celebrating a double success after winning a trophy at the West Midlands Business Masters Awards 2015.
It is the second year running that the Coventry-based company has lifted the title Exporter of the Year in the SME category.
Ultraseal, which exports to 36 countries worldwide, designs and manufactures casting impregnation equipment and porosity sealants.
Together these offer a permanent and reliable solution to the eternal problem of porosity – tiny holes in cast metal parts that can cause a part to leak.
Results were announced at a glittering gala dinner at Edgbaston Stadium, Birmingham on Thursday (June 11).
Stephen Hynes, Marketing Director of Ultraseal, said: “We’re delighted to have won the West Midlands Business Masters for the second year running – it’s a tremendous achievement.
“Our team has worked hard for our success. Ultraseal’s aim is to become a truly global brand and we are dedicated to giving our customers around the world the very best service and support.”
Finalists included Fracino, which exports cappuccino and espresso coffee machines, and Crofts & Assinder, a long-standing manufacturer of quality handles and fittings for furniture.
Ultraseal has already won one Export Award this year – at the Midlands Business Awards – and is shortlisted for the Coventry Telegraph Business Awards that will be announced on Friday, June 19.
