The Wine Key announced today it’s first virtual wine class. 12 wine lovers who aspire to learn more about wine but may not be looking to become a wine professional can now embark on a 4 week online wine class.

The “Wine Foundations” class starts Wednesday, January 7th and runs each week through January 29th, 2015. The class will be taught by The Wine Key’s Founder and CEO, Charlotte Chipperfield.

“Wine education isn’t about knowing it all or achieving social status. Wine Education is about having the best possible wine experiences,” says Chipperfield.

The Wine Foundations course serves as an introduction to the world of wine and will provide insight into the wine industry as well as exploring what it is about wine we all love and why. Topics to be covered in the class include:

*Winemaking

*Getting to know the vineyards

*Food & wine pairing

*How to purchase wine

Weekly classes will be held through a private Google Plus video streaming and recorded for students to keep and rewatch. Wine Foundations is limited to 12 persons who all must at least 21 years of age.
