Lucky 13: Sony Snowcrown Now Boasts Thirteen Canadian Olympic/National Team Members Registered For Competition

Sony SnowCrown Ski and Snowboard Festival, presented by Rockstar Energy Drink, promises to be the biggest event of the season. As Canadian Freestyle Championships, SnowCrown (snowcrown.ca) competition provides juniors, amateurs and pros with an opportunity to meet, greet and compete with some of the world’s top freestyle athletes in freeski, slopestyle, halfpipe and big air.

To date, thirteen of Canada’s Olympic and National freestyle athletes are registered to compete at snowcrown, including: Brad Martin, Mercedes Nicoll, Derek Livingston, Katie Tsuyuki, Jenna Blasman, Alex Duckworth, Tyler Nicholson, Crispin Lipscomb, Calynn Irwin, Breanna Stangeland, Brooke Voight, Matts Kulisek, Trevor Niblett. “Imagine how huge this is for kids coming up through the ranks,” says Jesse Fulton, of SnowCrown organizer 365 Sports. “I even plan to get some autographs,” Fulton says with a wide grin. “SnowCrown still has some spaces left is still taking registrations and we expect the list of Canadian winter action sport heroes on board to continue to grow”, says Fulton.
