Soul to Sole Ventures, Inc. announces that it has been retained to promote sponsorship opportunities for Mike Ditka’s Gridiron Greats’ Championship WeekendÂ
MCKINNEY, TX (RUSHPRNEWS) November 7, 2007 — Soul to Sole Ventures, Inc., a business development investment-marketing firm has been chosen by Ashley Manor Event Services to promote Mike Ditka’s Gridiron Greats’ Championship weekend.
Soul to Sole Ventures, Inc.’s CEO Carl Olivieri stated, “We are proud to have our team chosen to help Mike Ditka and his organization in bringing awareness to the problem faced by many of the gridiron greats. Olivieri added, “We, as football fans, sit home and watch players abuse their body in the spirit of competition while providing entertainment for us. But it is much more than that.
As a professional businessman, football symbolizes training, dedication, goal setting, leadership, and team effort. It also represents strategies and positioning and overcoming unforeseen obstacles and competition. Skills necessary not only on the field, but also on the field of life. All true football fans have games and moments that are forever part of their psyche. Watching Roger Staubach throw the first Hail Mary pass to Drew Pearson or Franco Harris’ Immaculate Reception or watching John Elway win his first Super Bowl. By helping Mike Ditka’s organization it gives the Soul to Sole Ventures team the opportunity to take our business expertise and give back to those gridiron greats, who have given us some of the greatest moments of our lives.”
The Gridiron Greats Championship Weekend begins on Wednesday January 30, 2008 with a VIP Sponsorship Dinner and Auction at The Castle at Ashley Manor. On Thursday, January 31, 2008 a Scramble Bowl Golf Tournament will take place at McCormick Ranch Golf Club followed by a Poker Bowl Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament on Friday February 1, 2008 at The Castle at Ashley Manor. The four-day event will finish on Saturday February 2, 2008 with the VIP Celebrity Party in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Just a few of the attendees scheduled to appear include Dick Butkus, Don Shula, Joe Greene, Randy White, Merlin Olson, Tony Dorsett, Franco Harris, Ed “Too Tall” Jones, Mel Renfro, Bobby Bell and many, many more athletes and Hollywood celebrities.
