Dr. Elaine Schneider the author of Massaging Your Baby: Effective Techniques for a Healthier, Happier, More Relaxed Child and Parent – The Joy of TouchTimeâ„¢ . Elaine Fogel Schneider holds a Ph.D. in psychology as well as two Master of Arts degrees in the fields of speech-language pathology and dance/movement therapy.
She has appeared on national television as an expert in child and family issues, recently she presented her expert information about infant massage for First 5 LA with Fox 11 News.
Dr. Schneider was also featured on the Learning Channel’s national cable television program “Slice of Life,†showing a day in the life of a speech and language pathologist, and “Hour Magazine†with Gary Collins. She is also a co-author of Pictures Please by Harcourt Brace. She will be offering various workshops in Southern California to demonstrate and teach others her healing touch and approach.  May 28th and 29th – “Oral motor movements and speech and language development strategies” “You are What You Eat and Say!” MonoCounty Office of Education (Mammoth Lakes, Ca. ) – Day One workshop provided to teachers and staff; Day Two-individual observations and consultations. Funded through SEEDS – California Department of Education- Speaker is a SEEDS trainer. (Special Early Education Delivery Systems)
