Newly upgraded hotel offers enhanced services and a modern experience —
Mary-am Hotel North York, a triple diamond rated boutique (CAA) hotel, has recently completed major renovations, marking a momentous moment in the hotel’s six-year history. Completed in phases since the beginning of 2013, the renovation project has completely transformed the structure and aesthetic of both the interior and exterior of the hotel. This is Mary-am Hotel North York’s largest undertaking since first opening its doors to serve both leisure and business travellers in 2008.
Upon arrival, guests will enter the updated open concept lobby, designed to make guests feel at ease the moment they step into the hotel. Hallways were also completely modernized, repainted and recarpeted, as were the hotel’s bachelor, one bedroom and two bedroom suites.
The hotel remained open for business throughout all phases of the renovation. Raymond Zar, Chief Executive Officer of Mary-am Group of Companies conceptualized the artistic vision and design concept.

Each room is furnished with brand new bed accessories, desks and coffee tables, in addition to luxurious Sears-O-Pedic chiropractic mattresses. The suite’s bathroom walls were repainted and all fixtures were replaced, including the installation of rain showerheads. In-suite amenities include LCD televisions in both the living room and bedroom, a fully equipped kitchenette, high speed wired and wireless internet connection, hair dryers and iron/ironing boards. Each suite has a brand new, environmentally-sound air conditioning and heating system for enhanced comfort and convenience.
The hotel registration process has been completely overhauled, vastly reducing wait times and making check-in and check-out for guests seamless. For further convenience, complimentary late check-out and early check-in is offered to all guests. The building was repainted an off-white, and the tall pillars that flank the entrance add elegance. Ample greenery, flowers and cedar trees were added to reflect the hotel’s longstanding commitment to the environment.
