ClearCenter, a leading provider of hybrid IT and on-premise open source Linux server, network, and gateway solutions, today announced it has added three members to its Leadership Team in preparation for ClearCenter’s planned expansion of its ClearOS hardware and software product lines.
Poul Nielsen, Shad Lords and Colin Kelly Jr. will help build and market the next generation of ClearOS featuring a new and unique Hybrid IT architecture.
Hybrid IT is the delivery of IT applications and services through a seamless integration of cloud and on-premise resources. Hybrid IT leverages the best elements of cloud applications and services as well as on-premise security and efficiency to offer the most productive open source IT platform available.
Poul Nielsen, VP Partners, brings more than 27 years of product strategy, business development and partner procurement experience to ClearCenter. Nielsen will evolve ClearCenter’s partnership program and develop key national and international partnerships. Prior to joining ClearCenter, Nielsen worked for Altiris, Computing Edge and Computer Associates.
Shad Lords, Core Build Manager, is leveraging his vast knowledge of open source systems and software to guide ClearFoundation’s evolution with the next version of the ClearOS open source Linux-based operating system. Lords comes to ClearCenter after stints at various public and private entities including the State of Utah, Department of Technology Services, CentOS, Contribs.org, Turbyne, and Nycom.
Colin Kelly Jr. will use his marketing and public relations background to grow ClearOS awareness and drive lead generation by targeting ClearCenter’s prime prospects and partners in the education, enterprise and Small-to-medium (SMB) markets. Kelly previously worked for Celio Corp and Connect magazine before joining ClearCenter.
