PASSPORT or CINEPHILE CARD for 2010 Montreal World Film Festival

PASSPORT or CINEPHILE CARD to see as many films as you like at the 2010 Montreal World Film Festival

 –  Film lovers will be VIPs at the next Montreal World Film Festival, which takes place August 26 to September 6, 2010.  The Festival is once again offering a PASSPORT but this year is adding a new CINEPHILE card.

As does the PASSPORT, the CINEPHILE card allows its holder access to the entire array of (over 700) film screenings at the Festival. Details and order forms for PASSPORT and CINEPHILE cards are available on the MWFF web site: www.ffm-montreal.org

The PASSPORT costs $100 and includes discounts on the purchase of Festival catalogues or posters. The CINEPHILE card costs $250 and includes free catalogue and poster. CINEPHILE cardholders and holders of individual tickets will have priority admission (ahead of PASSPORT holders). Holders of PASSPORT or CINEPHILE cards may vote for the Festival’s various public awards.

If you love quality cinema shown on a big screen; if you want to see great films from around the world; if you value cultural diversity; if you like to attend premieres of new cinema and form your own opinions; if you appreciate the chance to see remarkable films that will never get commercial distribution; if you like getting to see a picture’s director and actors in person; if you have a great curiosity about the world and how other people live and think, if you believe that knowing other societies and cultures adds to enlightenment, if you regard foreign languages and accents as adding spice to the cinema; if you will be in Montreal and available to see films between August 26 and September 6, 2010…

If you answered yes to any of the above, the PASSPORT or CINEPHILE cards are made for you. But note that quantities are limited… first subscribed, first served.
