BDO Canada LLP is pleased to announce that Christopher Johnsen has been appointed as the Managing Partner for the Advisory Services Practice (ASP). Chris succeeds David Simkins, who has recently been named Chief Operating Officer, BDO Canada LLP.

Most recently, Chris served as BDO’s Solutions practice leader which he will continue to manage for the foreseeable future. He joined BDO in 2008 to lead and build the National Solutions practice. During his seven-year tenure with BDO, Solutions has enjoyed tremendous growth in people, service lines, products and geography. Presently, BDO Solutions is recognized as the largest Microsoft Dynamics partner in Canada and has earned recognition as one of the top 1% of all Microsoft Dynamics partners globally.

Chris brings a wealth of experience and thought leadership to this role. His professional experience includes building consulting, implementation and Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) practices within the big four firms.
