Albi Homes And Brookfield Residential Calgary Multi-Family Division Distinguished With Inaugural Avid Home Quality Awards
– In recognition of the best builders providing extraordinary customer experiences, Avid® Ratings Canada is proud to introduce its inaugural Home Quality Awards. The 2014 awards recognize the top builders in Alberta, assessing new home quality and features as measurements of achievement. During a ceremony on September 19 at BUILD 2014, the Canadian Home Builders’ Association – Alberta annual conference held in Jasper, Avid Ratings presented Albi Homes and Brookfield Residential Calgary with a Home Quality Award in the single-family and multi-family categories, respectively.
“Cultivating in-depth, longer-term consumer feedback, the Home Quality Awards set the highest standards for assessing home quality and features among builders,” said Tim Bailey, division president of Avid Ratings Canada. “We want to congratulate Albi Homes and Brookfield Residential for showcasing true leadership in the marketplace, as revealed by homeowners in their year-end survey.”
Launched in Alberta, and with plans to expand across Canada and throughout the United States in 2015, Avid Ratings created the Home Quality Awards as a means to score homebuilders among their buyers based on longer-term experience with construction workmanship and building materials used to build a new home. The 2014 awards are a result of a survey distributed to Avid’s database of Alberta warranty provider builders, in addition to other year-end and warranty surveys conducted by Avid’s Alberta clients. Approximately 100 leading builders in Alberta were studied for the 2014 awards.

The 2014 Home Quality Award is Albi Homes’ second Avid award. The builder also received an Avid Gold Award in 2013 for customer experience through move-in.
