Dr. Karotkin to participate in Invisalign Teen® Study
This summer Dr. Karotkin at Advance Orthodontics in Houston will be participating in an Orthodontist Feedback Study being conducted by Align Technology, Inc. on their Invisalign Teen® product. The company specially selected Dr. Karotkin’s office to participate. Align is offering a discounted priced on aligner fabrication for patients enrolled in the study, and Dr. Karotkin plans to pass these savings onto his patients.
The patient enrollment period is between July 1st and September 27th and will be available to 10 lucky Houston teens. Participants must be age 11 to 19 years. Patients will receive treatment as normal. Dr. Karotkin will then fill out surveys after observing the product throughout his patients’ treatments. Dr. Karotkin hopes to use this study to help his patients straighten their smiles as well as save some money.
Invisalign Teen® is a great alternative to metal braces for teenagers. The custom fit plastic aligners are comfortable and practically invisible when worn on the teeth. Unlike metal braces, Invisalign Teen® is completely removable. This means there are no restrictions on what patients can eat, and brushing and flossing can be done as usual.
