“HelpHOPELive is a non-profit organization that empowers individuals and families to overcome financial barriers related to transplantation or catastrophic injury through grass-roots fundraising. I tear up even as I give this statement. Imagine how elated I was to have someone like Wade Smith support my vision and my mission. I am an ordinary young lady trying to save an extra-ordinary woman. My mother spent many years raising my sister and I by herself. Now, we are trying to save her life, so the success of this event is very important. It’s the start of many efforts to come as we begin our fundraising efforts to help us cover her after care costs,” shared LaKisha Wooden, daughter of the woman who will directly benefit from this comedy show.
“The Wade Smith Foundation is once again excited to put together an awesome event to impact our community in a positive manner. This show gives us the best of both worlds, by providing an amazing night of entertainment for ticket buyers, as well as raising funds for two awesome charities,” states Wade Smith. Smith is a Dallas native and 10-year NFL veteran, currently playing for the Houston Texans.
Viva La Vida Supperclub is located at 807 S. Central Expressway, Richardson, TX 75080, just north of the Spring Valley Road exit. There will be a 7pm and a 9:15pm show with an after-party to follow. For more details visit www.wadesmithfoundation.org.
