– The Savage, Lakeville and Minneapolis orthodontics practice of Cosmopolitan Orthodontics is helping provide equipment for the Farmington Youth Soccer Association this year.

The soccer association is new to the area, and Cosmopolitan was eager to help the players get started on the right foot this season, says Dr. Trudy Bonvino, a Minneapolis orthodontist. “We love being a part of this community, and we look forward to opportunities to help children get involved in sports, music, civic organizations or other hobbies,” says Trudy Bonvino, one of the St. Paul Minneapolis children’s orthodontists at Cosmopolitan. “Our office is quite happy to get involved in the community through soccer.”

The practice is committed to supporting educational, arts-related and youth athletic programs, and Bonvino says she realizes that these types of programs need help now more than ever. State and federal cuts have left their mark on a variety of programs, and the sluggish economy has meant that fewer businesses are able to donate to causes they have supported in the past.

“These programs need us, and we need these programs to enrich the youth in our community,” Minneapolis pediatric orthodontist says. “We want to do our part to make sure that youth who want to be involved in an extracurricular activity have the opportunity to do so.”
