Yung Berg Clarifed Statements About Black Women
LOS ANGELES (RUSHPRNEWS)July 12, 2008– Yung Berg has made some controversial statements lately by criticizing black women. Berg revealed he has racist feelings toward dark skinned women, calling them “dark butts”.
Berg said, “I’m kinda racist… I don’t like dark butts… You know how some women prefer light skin men or dark skin men. It’s rare that I do dark butts – that’s what I call dark skinned women…I [don’t date women] darker than me.”
The “Sexy Can I” rapper caused a lot of noise with this statement and his fans were shocked.
Berg reached out to AllHipHop.com to officially apologize for his comments.
“I want to apologize to every woman across the world,” Yung Berg said. “I would never want to offend any women of any race because I love women so much. You can tell by the music that I make that women mean the world to me. My mother is a lovely dark skin lady… I’m totally sorry and hope I didn’t offend any of my fans that have love for YB.”
Yung Berg is currently gearing up for his debut album “Look What You Made Me” which will be in stores August 12.
