“The 11th Hour” To Have World Premiere at Cannes Film Festival –
Leonardo DiCaprioÂ produced, co-wrote and narrated the film

Cannes, France (rushprnews) May 21,2007- The Cannes Film Festival, considered by many to be the world’s most prestigious film festival, has chosen “The 11th Hour” as an Official Selection for its 60th Anniversary, May 16 – 27, 2007.

The environmental documentary will premiere as a Special Screening, Out of Competition.

Leonardo produced, co-wrote and narrated the film, which includes interviews from more than 50 leading thinkers, scientists, visionaries and experts on the state of the global environment. The film looks at the human impact on our planet and highlights solutions that can help restore the earth’s damaged eco-systems.

Directed by Leila Conners Petersen and Nadia Conners, and produced by Conners Petersen, Chuck Castleberry and Brian Gerber, “The 11th Hour” will open domestically in Fall 2007.
