Building and Network Access” roundtable. Chaired by David Tin, Founder of Imprivata, the roundtable session will focus on recognizing emerging technologies to ensure tight security and user accessibility within policy compliance, and outline the benefits of physical/logical convergence and strategies for implementing flexible security solutions.  Other panelists include executives from TYCO Software House, Convergint Technologies, and HID. Laurie also serves as Chairman on the Board of Directors for the Open Security Exchange (OSE), a nonprofit, multi-industry association working to accelerate the widespread convergence of physical security with IT.

Led by Vik Ghai, CTO & Vice President for Quantum Secure, the session titled, “Convergence: Barriers and Enablers for Success”, will be co-presented with Derrick Wright, a security practitioner for Baxter Healthcare – Cherry Hill,  and include results from recently implemented converged security program.  This session will focus on the convergence of security-related activities including physical, information, human resources, crisis management and others, has risen in response to the increasing complexity and cross-disciplinary nature of today’s challenges and is designed to help attendees learn how to implement a successful security convergence program. Mr. Ghai (who also serves as the Technical Director on the Open Security Exchange (OSE) will also present the OSE Convergence Roadmap which provides a conceptually sound framework for integrating Physical & IT security principles, common terminology and best practice guidance to support any organization’s convergence efforts.
