Pogue will be testing and evaluating the latest tech products, gadgets, innovations and trends on CNBC’s Business Day programming.

Pogue is the personal technology columnist for The New York Times where he contributes a weekly print column, an online column and online video to the paper as well as his popular daily blog “Pogue’s Posts.” He is also an Emmy award-winning tech correspondent for CBS News and a frequent guest on NPR’s “Morning Edition.”

Pogue is one of the world’s bestselling “how-to” authors. He wrote or co-wrote seven books in the “For Dummies” series including Macs, Magic, Opera and Classical Music and, in 1999, Pogue launched his own series of funny computer books called the Missing Manual series, which now includes 60 titles.

Pogue holds a degree from Yale University with distinction in music and spent ten years conducting and arranging Broadway musicals in New York. Pogue also received an honorary doctorate in music from the Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, VA.
