Los Angeles, CA (rushprnews) April 4, 2007 — On April 4, 2007, Twentieth Century Fox International kicks off an explosive Die Hard 4.0 campaign with a worldwide day and date digital media roadblock on key MSN International sites and on YouTube.
Audiences worldwide can experience die-hard action via two exclusive trailers presented on the homepages of each site.
Visitors to the MSN homepages in the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, Demark, Norway, Finland, Austria, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, Taiwan, and Japan will be directed to an exclusive DIE HARD trailer, cut especially for the digital roadblock. 20th Century Fox have again selected MSN as a partner on this activity because of our ability to scale solutions across market, penetration into the international digital audience, and our affinity with the movie-going public.
The roadblock continues on the internationally-popular YouTube video site, for another look at the film. The trailer will run on the homepage of the YouTube site. Fans can then sign up to the Die Hard 4.0 channel so that they can have access to all the up-to-the-minute video for the much-anticipated release.
“We are confident that with our strong action trailers and the global reach of both MSN and YouTube, audiences worldwide will see that DIE HARD 4.0 is the not-to-be-missed action movie of the summer,” remarks Bettina Sherick, VP Digital Marketing, Fox International Theatrical.
Additionally, fans can experience the interactive official global website, launching simultaneously on 4/4 at www.diehard4movie.com.
Die Hard 4.0, the latest chapter in the enormously successful Die Hard franchise, takes action to the next level as Detective John McClane (Bruce Willis) confronts a new breed of terrorism. Set in today’s digital world, the nation’s computer infrastructure that controls all communications, transportation and power is brought to a devastating halt. The mastermind behind the plot has taken every angle into account. What he didn’t count on was McClane, an old-school cop who knows a thing or two about how to foil terrorist plans.
Die Hard 4.0 releases globally this summer, starting with the US on June 27, 2007.
