Four Christmases topped the box office this weekend with an estimated $18.2 million, ‘Punisher: War Zone’ flopped in its debut

LOS ANGELES (RushPRnews)12/08/08-With the Holiday Season in tow, audiences are coming out of the dark and cheering with the Christmas spirit “Four Christmases”, which surpassed “Twilight” at the box office, still at a respectable second place. As reported by Box Office Mojo, “Bolt” maintained the same level of business since its opening. The epic “Australia” with its spectacular cinematogry beats “Quantum of Solace” proving that there’s still an audience for movies based on storytelling and not only “bing bang you’re dead” script. Following are WEEKEND TOP 5 STUDIO ESTIMATES, DECEMBER 5-7, 2008.
