NEW YORK(RushPRnews/Hollywood Today)10/14/08 – Britney Spears doesn’t want her fans to think she sees the world with rose-tinted glasses. In a televised MTV special due for broadcast on Nov. 30, the popstress will question her own erratic behavior and lament the life of isolation fame and fortune have brought her. “I sit there, and I look back, and I’m like, ‘I’m a smart person. Like, what the hell was I thinking?’†Spears said in a fragment of the 90-minute documentary released to the media.
The “Womanizer†singer has recently put her best foot forward after several months of paparazzi-documented hell, including two psychiatric hospitalizations, a protracted fight for custody of her children and a hit-and-run case involving a parked car that is still ongoing.
“Sometimes, it can get kind of lonely, because you don’t open the gate up that much. You know what I mean?†an emotional Spears told MTV. “You’re guarded; you have to be that way. So, I’m kind of stuck in this place, and it’s like, ‘How do you deal?’ And you just cope. And that’s what I do. I just cope with it every day.â€
Spears latest album, Circus, is scheduled for release on Dec. 2. She also recently announced her intention to New York radio station Z100 to embark on her first international tour since 2004’s Onyx Hotel Tour, which was cut short due to a knee injury.
