Anna Nicole’s last film to premiere at Cannes

Los Angeles, CA (rushprnews) April 11, 2007: ‘Illegal Aliens’, the last film of late model Anna Nicole Smith, will premiere at the Cannes Film Market in May. The decision to premiere the movie was taken at the insistence of producer Scott Jones on giving it a big platform in Europe, as he believes that Anna Nicole would also want the same treatment for the sci-fi flick if she were alive.

“Everyone knows Anna would have loved to have the world premiere at Cannes. It is a market fitting for her and this film,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

David Giancola has directed the film, and it is set to be released in DVDs in America on 1 May.

Anna Nicole not only starred in the film but funded it also. Her late son Daniel was also a co-producer of the movie.
