LOS ANGELES (RUSHPRNEWS) JULY 23, 2008– Reports are circulating about the possibility of 50 Cent calling it quits with the rap game. According to reports, the G-Unit giant’s rumored resignation is due to a lingering beef between him and his record label, Interscope.

“I just don’t see 50 Cent coming out with another album … at least not here [at Interscope],” an alleged insider told MediaTakeOut.com.

Apparently 50’s performance in his upcoming movie, “Righteous Kill,” is generating so much of a “major buzz” that it is also prompting the rapper to reconsider his career path.

“After critics see Curtis Jackson in the film, he won’t have to rap anymore,” the insider said.

It is also rumored that 50 will be dropping his stage name and going by Curtis Jackson from now on.

At press time, 50 had yet to confirm or deny the rumor.
