New York, NY – August 29, 2008 – The 3rd Annual Ohio Hip Hop Awards will be held this year at the Convention Center in Cleveland OH on September 20th. Since it’s creation in 2006, the Ohio Hip Hop Awards has helped create an amazing sense of unity that can be felt throughout the Ohio hip hop scenes. This years ballot (up now till Sept. 1st) really shows a wide diversity across the state. The awards are projected to have over 3,000 people in attendance, from VIP’s, Nominees, Media to fans this years awards looks to be even bigger and better then prior years.
The OHHA held their showcases again this year across the state and they were extremely successful, the winners are listed on the official OHHA website for each showcase. The entire weekend for this years awards is dedicated to the awards unlike prior years, with a pre-party set for Friday at the Metropolis, the Award Show on Saturday, after party set for Cyrus on the water front, and a conference set for Sunday.
