Animal Welfare Quebec-Canada Organizes March to Close Gas Chamber

MONTREAL (RPRN) 01/31/10 — THE FIGHT AGAINST THE HORRIFIC GAS CHAMBERS IN QUEBEC AND THROUGHOUT CANADA

Gas chambers are one of the most cruel and barbaric methods to kill animals. In order to save money, the animals are not given any sedative before they are thrown into the gas box. Humane euthanization of animals, by injection is the only method that should be used for animals.

Intracardial injections, commonly referred to as "heart sticks" should never be used and be out-lawed.

MONTREAL: Departure at 1:00pm from Parc Lafontaine

Invite your friends, neighbours, colleagues and family members. Bring posters, banners with you to this march. Dogs on leash are welcome. Bring water for your pets and please remember to bring bags for your dog’s needs. Wear something to symbolize the victims of the gas chambers.

In the name of all animals, those who are without neither voice nor choice, we thank you for joining us for this extremely important action for those who depend on us to speak for them. Together, we can give these innocent animals a second chance for a better life, a life they so deserve.
