Nashville,TN(RushPRnews)11/28/08- There was plenty of football and good food to go around on a Thanksgiving Day. Three games were played yesterday, all which were high scoring affaires. Perhaps, none was more noteworthy than Brian Westbrook's four touchdowns. With week 13 already in progress, RushPRnews gives you the latest coverage to keep you up-to-date around the National Football League.

Titans 47, Lions 10

Tennessee's (11-1) run at a perfect season may have come to an end but playing the winless Lions is a perfect way to get back into gear. It looked like a mismatch on paper and it sure looked like a mismatch on the field. Tennessee's "Smash and Dash" tandem of LenDale White and rookie Chris Johnson dominated the defenseless Lions.

First it was the rookie torching Detroit with two first-quarter touchdowns, including a 58-yard touchdown run. With that run alone, Johnson gained more yards then he did against the Jets last week.

Then it was Whites' turn to get into the mix scoring two second-quarter touchdowns, bringing his total to thirteen on the season. Johnson finished the game with 125 yards on 16 carries, averaging just under 8 yards per carry.

DicksSportingGoods.comThe Lions are 4 games away from going into history, but not the way you want to be remembered. At 0-12 the Lions move one step closer to becoming the first team to go 0-16. Their next opponents are the Vinkings, Colts, Saints and Packers, all making a push towards the playoff.

The Lions may not have given up believing they can still win at least one game, but their isn't much ferociousness behind their roar.

Cowboys 34, Seahawks 9

At the beginning of the season, the Dallas Cowboys' bandwagon was full. Too much talent on both sides of the ball for it not to be their year. Too many pro bowl guys to not even think about making it to the Super Bowl. Then somewhere along the bumpy road, the wheels fell off and so did a few fans. But now at 8-4, the Cowboys seem to have hit their stride once again.

Dallas scored touchdowns on its first three possessions and Seattle (2-10) look just as bad as their record. Tony Romo finished 22-of-33 for 331 yards and three touchdowns with an interception. This is the Cowboys' third straight victory as they gain momentum down the stretch.

Seattle's Matt Hasselbeck had a rough day and was sacked seven times. Credit DeMarcus Ware with three of those sacks, giving him an NFL-best 15 this season.

He was unable to add to that total after leaving the game in the third quarter with a sprained knee. Marion Barber also left the game with a bruised right pinkie toe.

Eagles 48, Cardinals 20

Booes turned into cheers as Donovan McNabb and the Philadelphia Eagles took care of business against the Cardinals. In the past two games, McNabb's numbers have not been good. In fact they could have been worst had he not been yanked from the starting lineup. With all eyes on the Eagles' quarterback, McNabb responded by throwing four touchdown passes. More importantly, he took care of the football and did not turn the ball over.

Philly (6-5-1) put a stamp on this one early on and finished with a season high 48 points.

The Eagles are far from being an offensive juggernaut but Brian Westbrook was sure hard to stop scoring two rushing TDs and two receiving TDs.

The action continues on Sunday. Look for our update right here, at RushPRnews.
