50 Cent A "Dead Man" In New Movie. Filming started in London this week

LONDON(RushPRNews)11/21/08-50 Cent certainly has his hands full. In addition to the lawsuits and album and DVD releases, the rapper is taking it back to his street roots with his role as a loan shark in the new movie Dead Man Running, says Billboard.com.The flick, which began shooting in London November 19, has 50 starring along side Brenda Blethyn, Tamer Hassan, Danny Dyer, and Monet Mazur.

Written and directed by Alex de Rakoff, the script follows the story of an ex con trying to go legit who is told by the loan shark that he has 24 hours to come up with $150,000 or he will be a "dead man running."

According to Billboard, the movie has attracted the attention of U.K. soccer players Rio Ferdinand and Ashley Cole, who have executive producer credit.

In other 50 Cent news, the rapper recently pushed back the release of his next album, Before I Self Destruct, citing the shaky economy and the release of more singles. It is scheduled to be released in early 2009.
