WASHINGTON,DC(RUSHPRNEWS)10/09/2008--In this week's debates, the candidates spent a lot of time talking about health care. Health care is on a lot of people's minds this election, as health insurance rates keep rising and leave many families unable to afford much-needed health care.

Barack Obama and Joe Biden have a health care plan that will make quality health care affordable and accessible for every American. It builds on the existing health care plan. So if you like you're health insurance - you can keep it, and will pay up to $2,500 less annually than you do now.

If you don't have health insurance, you will have a choice of quality, affordable health care options.

The Obama-Biden plan doesn't leave the burden on small businesses, either. Barack's plan will create a new Small Business Health Tax Credit to help small businesses provide affordable health insurance to their employees.

Barack has said: "I ... believe that every American has the right to affordable health care. I believe that the millions of Americans who can't take their children to a doctor when they get sick have that right. ... And I believe that no amount of industry profiteering and lobbying should stand in the way of that right any longer."

In contrast, John McCain's plan will tax health care benefits -- imposing a $3.6 trillion tax on working families. This would represent the first time in our nation's history that health care benefits would be taxed. And McCain's plan doesn't protect Americans with pre-existing conditions -- leaving those who need it most without health insurance.
