Jay-Z Pulls Out Of Free Obama Show Amid Rumored Throat Issues

MIAMI, Fla. (RUSHPRNEWS)10/09/2008--Jay-Z was forced to cancel his second free Obama show on short notice last night. Rumor has it that Jay pulled out of the gig at Miami's Bayfront Park Amphitheatre because of throat problems. Event organizers originally told the excited audience that the rapper was running late but they were forced to reveal the truth after they learned of Jay's absence.

According to reports, organizers are upset because Jay missed a good opportunity because of the voter registration deadline in Miami yesterday.

The whole concert has had to be cancelled because it was Jay-Z who pulled out. We haven't been told why, but I'm sure all the fans want an explanation," an anonymous Bayfront Park official speculated.

The free concert event was supposed to include performance by Wyclef Jean and Rick Ross. The entire event was scrapped, however, because of Jay's cancellation.

At press time, Jay had yet to issue any statement on the issue.
