---Confusing writing from CNN marketing department. So the show is just about them. Why won't they go on Larry King LIve? If Michael Jackson went on the show after the child molestation charges were filed against him, McCain and Palin could face Larry King!

All Is Not forgiven

NEW YORK (RUSHPRNEWS) 7:30 pm.  - it's confirmed, it would have been too great but contrary to an earlier RushPRNews' report McCain and Palin are not to appear Larry King Live Tonight.  Larry King, the host of one of the most successful and enduring talk show of all times, is hosting an open-mike for callers to discuss the case of McCain and Palin. But no live appearance of this politicial duo.

All is NOT forgiven.  It appears that the reporter was misinformed and that the McCain's camp has not forgiven CNN for asking the questions that need to be asked during a political campaign for the presidency.  So no chitchat with Larry tonight for McCain and his VP. Stay tuned.

Angry McCain Cancelled Previously Scheduled Interview

How is Palin, the newest candidate holding up on a national playing field? Will Palin be able to tackle hard political questions? Will they even be asked? Tonight's appearance by the McCain and Palin duo comes as a surprise following McCain's previous show of anger at CNN ,for what he considered hard-line questioning about Palin's political experience.

Round two: McCain was previously scheduled to appear on Larry King Live but cancelled a scheduled interview with Larry King due to an unfriendly segment on September 1 on CNN -- the segment we flagged where the network's Campbell Brown grilled McCain spokesperson Tucker bounds over Sarah Palin's lack of foreign policy experience. CNN reported that the McCain campaign complained that Campbell Brown's grilling of Tucker Bounds over Sarah Palin's lack of foreign policy experience was "over the line."

One wonders what Larry King's producers had to promise the McCain camp to make this interview happen. The audience will see tonight if CNN dares to impose some level of journalistic rigor to its news programming, at the risk of encountering McCain's furor again.
