Wendy Williams' Show Gets Syndicated
By Erin T. McMillonNEW YORK,(RUSHPRNEWS)AUGUST 20,2008--It seems that all is (at least partially) well in Wendy William's world. Despite some pending legal issues involving her husband and an alleged hit on rival DJ Miss Jones, Wendy seems to be moving on up. According to reports, the self proclaimed "Queen of All Media" has just hit it big by having her FOX TV show nationally syndicated later this year.
Initially Fox ordered 30 episodes of the show to air in their New York, Dallas and Detroit markets to see how well Mrs. Williams would do. Wendy has apparently exceeded their expectations by increasing their viewership among women between 25 and 54 by 80%, says Variety. Wendy's brand of no holds barred celebrity commentary, gossip and interviews also increased viewership of among women between 18 and 34 by 200%.
Wendy's show, which airs daily on FOX, is executive produced by Rob Dauber, the executive producer on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."
