50 Cent Tops Forbes' Hip-Hop Cash Kings List
By Erin T. McMillonNEW YORK (RUSHPRNEWS) AUGUST 18, 2008--The Forbes hip-hop cash kings list has become the most credible indicator of who is actually making the kind of moeny they all rap about. Last year, Jay-Z took the title of hip-hop's top earner. This year, the ranking have changed as 50 Cent is laughing all of the way to the "Piggy Bank" in the top spot.
Leading the pack with an estimated $50 million over the last year, 50 beat out Jay by $18 million. Diddy rounded our the top three at $35 million.
Common, Lil Wayne, and Akon made their debut on this year's list, replacing embattled producer Scott Storch, Yung Joc, and Ice Cube.
