Kanye West To Get Own Show On HBO

NEW YORK (RUSHPRNEWS)JULY 31, 2008--From his award show tirades to his infamous "George Bush doesn't like black people" comment, the public cannot deny the fact that Kanye West makes good TV. Recently there has been talk of the MC getting his own show.

Proving talk is cheap, HBO has reportedly stepped up the plate with plans to team the Chi-City rapper with executive producer Larry Charles (Curb Your Enthusiasm) to put out the as of yet titled show.

The single camera series is said to follow the life of Kanye and his relationships with family and friends.

According to reports, the cable network juggernaut is even said to be looking for a writer so things can kick off soon.

"We need to figure out how to capture Kanye in the right way," a source said.

At press time, Mr. West has not offered any comment on the new show.
