Alicia Keys Does James Bond

LOS ANGELES (RUSHPRNEWS) July 14, 2008- Alicia Keys has reportedly been tapped to sing the theme song for the upcoming James Bond movie, "Quantum Of Solace." According to reports, other hopefuls for the coveted gig included Amy Winehouse, Beyonce Knowles, and Leona Lewis.


The E! Network's Marc Malkin is the reportedly the source of the news saying that an "insider" tipped him off. "I believe Alicia is the winner," he said.

Although the info is being widely reported, the "powers that be" have yet to confirm the good news. According to reports, Alicia's reps refuse to issue any comment and the movie's spokesperson is quoted as saying that they still have "no info" on the theme song for the film.

As previously reported by Yo!Raps, Alicia is currently touring the world in support of her latest effort, "As I Am." The tour kicked off on February 28 and is expected to end on October 31. R&B singer/songwriter Ne-Yo and newcomer Jordin Sparks are accompanying the singer on the tour.
